The "The Landscape Consultants" are a team of landscape professionals who have been in operation since 1989.

Meet the Team:

Susan Watson: Susan has been in the landscaping industry for 30 years, is the owner and principle designer for the team. She is also the preferred designer for Cedar Rim Nursery and has a sound background in what works and doesn't work in Lower Mainland properties. Susan is involved in many aspects of landscaping from designing and installing properties for many high-profile clients to writing articles for regional magazines and newspapers to teaching classes and giving gardening talks for a variety of public and private groups. Susan lives in  Langley with her daughter.

Marilyn Lawrie: Marilyn is Susan's sister and works as Project Manager and Marketing Representative for the Landscape Consultants. She has a lengthy career in business including ownership of a private school for 14 years and working as a consultant in management, corporate communications and investor relations. Marilyn understands the needs of both commercial and residential property developers/owners and provides detailed reporting of all project activities. Marilyn joined the team to live in Langley, appreciate time with her niece Kristine and her horse Larry.

Paul Buikema: Paul is an ISA Certified Arborist and a Certified Horticulture Technician (CHT). With over 15 years in the nursery and landscape industry, Paul is the teams plant and pest specialist. Paul has had articles published in gardening magazines & also gives seminars, in 2003 he received the BCLNA's award for Young Member of the Year . Paul and his wife live in Burnaby.

Cameron Stehr: Cam has been with the team for several years on a part time basis while attending university in Abbotsford.  Cam enjoys community and volunteer activities and often travels and works at youth summer camps.  Cameron lives with his parents in South Langley.

Joanne Lester: A long time friend and co-worker in the landscaping industry, Joanne comes with an extensive background in the turf business. While running her own business and heading up the maintenance team for The Landscape Consultants, she is very busy. Joanne lives in Chilliwack on a small farm.
